Dr. Anaita Mullasseril
Dr. Anaita Mullasseril feels that the most rewarding part of her job is helping individuals boost their self-confidence. She enjoys seeing a shy individual transform into a self-confident person that’s ready to show their new, beautiful smile to the world. Dr. Mullasseril enjoys meeting new patients and explaining how orthodontic treatment can change their smile and improve their bite. Dr. Mullasseril received her Orthodontic Certificate and Master of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma, College of Dentistry in 2007. During her residency at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Mullasseril received the 2007 OUHSC Graduate Student Association Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
Upon graduating, Dr. Mullasseril was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Graduate Orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma before moving to Spokane, WA where she was an associate in a busy private practice for three years.
Dr. Mullasseril is married and has two children. Her husband, Dr. Paul Mullasseril, is the assistant dean of clinical and preclinical education at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
Dr. Anaita Mullasseril is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Oklahoma Dental Association. She has enjoyed practicing orthodontics exclusively in Shawnee since 2012.
